Mrs. Philippines Evening Gown Competition

The Mrs. Philippines 09 Long Gown Competition was held Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Manila Pavilion Hotel in Orosa Malate, Manila.

Twenty seven smart and gorgeous mothers gracefully walked the ramp in front of the admiring audience and judges. This year, The Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines provided all the gowns that the candidates wore during the event.

Participating designers includes Jontie Martinez, Johnny Abad, Rico Escaro, Julius Ornum, Edgar Madamba. Judges for the competition were reigning Mrs. Philippines World Eimee Edralin Cragun, Miss Global City Asia Hemilyn Escudero, First District Paranaque Congerssman Ed Zialcita, former Senator Nikki Coseteng among others.

A buffet dinner was served to all the guests and the family of the candidates at the Boulevard Restaurant located at the lobby of the hotel. Finals for Mrs. Philippines 09 is set on Dec. 17, 8pm at the Aliw Theater. Hosts for the event are Paolo Bediones and Pops Fernandez with performances from Gary Valenciano, Erik Santos and other guests.
